New Mexico business magazine goes out of business

The New Mexico Business Journal, a monthly magazine, has ceased operations, according to a story in the New Mexico Business Weekly.

The story stated, “In March 2007, the company brought in a new publisher, Doug Miller, to make extensive changes to the publication. New technology and production upgrades were included in the changes, according to a news release issued by the company.

“‘We introduced competitive advertising rates and upgraded circulation and implemented editorial changes that made for a more informative read for our audience,’ said Rowan in the release.

“The company also owns Scottsdale Airpark News, of which Rowan is the publisher. The New Mexico Business Journal was almost 30 years old.”
