BusinessWeek announced Wednesday the appointment of Roger W. Neal as senior vice president and general manager of BusinessWeek Online. In his new role, he will be responsible for growing revenue, traffic, and visibility for BusinessWeek Online as it builds its position as a site for business content on the Web.

Before joining BusinessWeek, Neal was director of business development at eBay, where he was responsible for revenue growth through key strategic partnerships.

“Roger brings a great deal of expertise to this position and we are confident that he will help us grow traffic and revenue for BusinessWeek Online as it continues to establish itself as the preeminent site for business content on the Web,” said Glenn S. Goldberg, president of the Information & Media division of The McGraw-Hill Companies.

“I’m thrilled to join the talented team at BusinessWeek Online and look forward to helping expand the franchise,” said Neal in an announcement.
