OLD Media Moves

New Hampshire paper changes biz page

December 12, 2010

The Concord Monitor in New Hampshire is changing its business news page to appear in Monday’s paper.

Editor Felice Belman writes, “First, the Sunday Monitor has long been the home of a weekly business events calendar. This, along with the businesspeople listings and brief items about local companies, will migrate to the Monday Business section.

“In their place on the Sunday ‘Your Business’ page we will carry personal finance columns. (You will find them on Page E2 today.)

“Listings of local real estate transactions will also remain in the Sunday paper — also on the Your Business page.

“On Mondays, the new business page will typically take the place of a Local & State page. That page has long been home to a regular photo column by veteran photographer Ken Williams — and recently became the home to a new photo column by staff photographer John Tully. These features will move to Saturdays.”
