Quartz reporter Akshat Rathi has been hired as an energy and climate change reporter at Bloomberg News.
Rathi will be starting his new role in January after working for nearly 5 years at Quartz.
Prior to working at Quartz, Rathi held the posts of science and data editor and science and technology editor at The Conversation Media Group. He also served as deputy editor at Royal Society of Chemistry. Rathi also has experience working at The Economist as a Richard Casement intern.
Rathi holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology. He also holds a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Oxford.
