New editor named at Missouri business paper

There is a changing of the guard at the Columbia Business Times in Missouri.

Current editor David Reed writes, “After this issue, new editor Brian McNeill will take over the day-to-day editorial operations of the Business Times, and I will move into the role of executive editor. I’ll still run our community issue forums and contribute articles and columns while working about half time, and even less as Brian becomes reacclimated to the area.

“I’m taking over the management of Columbia Tech Network from Sean Spence and hope to build it into a leading force in the development of the area’s tech entrepreneur culture. After helping to plan the next few CBT issues, I’m taking some time off to get to work on the network and start a communications consulting company.

“The city’s most trusted and oldest business paper will have a new but experienced and capable manager.”
