New editor for Prairie Business

Ryan Schuster has been named editor of Prairie Business magazine, a North Dakota monthly business magazine published by the Grand Forks Herald.

He replaces Rick Killion, the founding editor of Prairie Business, who will continue with the publication as contributing editor and senior sales account manager. The magazine started in 2000.

A story on the magazine’s Web site Saturday states, “Schuster, who grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin, has been the Herald’s business reporter for the past year. He previously worked as a business reporter at The Bakersfield Californian newspaper in Bakersfield, Calif.

“Prairie Business magazine is the region’s premier business publication. Monthly issues are distributed throughout North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota.”
