Paul Murphy, former financial editor of the Guardian newspaper in London, has been appointed as development editor on FinancialTimes.com, it was announced yesterday.
His new role will involve expanding the website. Murphy previously held senior positions in business journalism at the Sunday Business newspaper and the Daily Telegraph, before joining the Guardian newspaper for a seven-year stint.
