New deputy biz editor at New York Post

Jay Sherman is the new deputy business editor at the New York Post, according to Bacon’s blog and confirmed by a staff writer at the Post. Sherman joins the paper from Pensions & Investments, where he covered trading and asset services.

Sherman joined Pensions & Investments’ New York office in June from TelevisionWeek, where he was business editor for three years. Before that, he was managing editor at Treasury & Risk Management magazine, and he previously managed a group of capital markets newsletters at Thomson Financial. Jay has a bachelor’s degree in economics from William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
