New business editor in Saskatoon

Joanne Paulsen has been named the business editor of the Saskatoon Star Phoenix in Canada, according to a short story Thursday. She had been entertainment and lifestyles editor.

The story stated, “For Paulson, it marks a return to the business department where she previously served as editor prior to her move to arts and entertainment in 2002.

“A political science graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Paulson joined The StarPhoenix in 1983 where she has since served in a variety of journalistic roles.Â

“She was nominated in 2002 for a Saskatoon YWCA Woman of Distinction Award.”
