Annette LaCross will become the new editor of BusinessRockford.com, the business news web site run by the Rockford Register Star, on Monday, according to a story Sunday. She’s also becoming the business editor for the paper.
“LaCross started in newspapers as a business reporter and later became an editor, covering the auto industry in Detroit.
“’Talk about a learning process,’ LaCross said. ‘I covered everything from business financing to real estate. It was a fantastic experience, and I really can’t wait to get back to it.’
“From Detroit, she went to Ohio, working as assistant managing editor and then managing editor at the Sandusky Register, a 25,000-circulation daily newspaper.”
