The Pensacola News Journal said Sunday that Bob Bryan, a 10-year veteran at the newspaper, is now its business editor. He formerly worked in Milton as Santa Rosa County bureau chief.
He replaces Sara Rabb, who will become education editor overseeing coverage of education issues in area school districts and colleges.
A short story stated, “‘(Bob) has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of roles, and everything he does, he does well,’ said News Journal Managing Editor Ginny Graybiel. ‘He’s already a very key local editor, and I’m pleased that he’ll be taking on new responsibilities in overseeing our Sunday business section as well as our daily business page.’
“Bryan, a native of Cullman, Ala., and University of Alabama graduate, has been an editor with Gannett for 20 years.
“‘Throughout my career, local news has always been my passion, and that fits well with the mission of the Pensacola News Journal to thoroughly cover its communities,’ Bryan said.”
