Elon Glucklich writes, “Russo will oversee the newspaper’s business news team and help guide overall news coverage.
“Russo joined The Register-Guard in 2000 as a business news reporter. He held that post until 2004, when he became the Eugene government reporter.
“Before moving to Eugene, Russo worked as a business reporter at the Omaha World-Herald in Nebraska, mainly covering technology companies.
“Russo started his journalism career in 1986 at the Lincoln Journal in Nebraska. He covered county, city and state government. He became a business reporter in 1995 after the merger of the Lincoln Journal and Lincoln Star.”
