Brian Pearson has been named the business editor at the Tyler Morning Telegraph, according to a story in Sunday’s paper.
The story stated, “‘Brian Pearson will lead our efforts in covering East Texas business news,’ Berry said. ‘His depth of experience throughout the state will be put to good use here in Tyler, and we’re anxious for readers to get to know him.’
“As business editor, Pearson is in charge of coordinating and in most cases writing stories that deal with business, investing, finance and community development appearing in the Tyler Paper and its Web site, TylerPaper.com.
“Pearson joined the Beaumont paper in 2001, moving there from the Killeen Daily Herald, where he was managing editor for four years. Prior to that, he held reporting and editing positions on the Williamson County Sun in Georgetown, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Midland Reporter Telegram, Odessa American and Pasadena Citizen.”
