The business editor of the Great Falls Tribune is leaving to become editor of a magazine, according to a short item in the Sunday paper.
The story stated, “Butch Larcombe, who has been business editor for the past three years, and has held a variety of jobs at the newspaper since landing in Great Falls in 1987, is heading to Helena.
“Larcombe has accepted a job as editor and general manager of Montana Magazine. His last day at the Tribune was Friday.
“Jo Dee Black, who has been a business reporter for 5 1/2 of her six years at the Tribune, has been named acting business editor.
“Peter Johnson, a veteran reporter with multiple decades of service to the newspaper, will remain on the business news staff.”
