Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council and the Wisconsin Innovation Network, is joining the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and JSOnline.com as a biweekly business columnist.
An announcement in the Sunday paper states, “A former associate editor of the Wisconsin State Journal, he is the co-founder and former president of ‘We the People/Wisconsin,’ a 15-year-old civic journalism partnership involving statewide print, television and radio media. He writes columns syndicated in 24 Wisconsin publications, and he is on the boards of the Wisconsin Security Research Consortium and the WiSys Technology Foundation Advisory Board, as well as many other civic and business groups. He also is a lecturer in the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
“His Journal Sentinel/JSOnline.com columns will cover a wide range of issues involving economic development, the business climate, growth industries and opportunities, and other topics of interest to businesspeople as well as consumers in southeast Wisconsin and across the state.
“Still’s ‘Business Commentary’ debuts on Page 3D.
“It will alternate with Tom Saler‘s ‘Historical Perspectives’ column, which moves from Mondays to Sundays starting next week.”
