Karen Gaudette Brewer will be joining NerdWallet as an editor.
Currently, she is overseeing brand stewardship and impact, employee communications at REI.
Brewer has also served as an executive editor at Remedy Health Media and as a senior editor at Allrecipes.com. She was also a food writer, editor for PCC Community Markets and has also authored a book, “Seafood Lover’s Pacific Northwest.”
In addition, she has worked at both The Seattle Times and The Press-Enterprise as a staff reporter. Apart from these outlets, Brewer has also worked at The Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal.
She also held the post of editor-in-chief at The Daily UW. Brewer is a B.A. in political science from University of Washington.
