Nasiripour takes over Trump Organization beat at Bloomberg

Shahien Nasiripour

Shahien Nasiripour, a reporter for Bloomberg News in Manhattan, is now covering the Trump Organization, the real estate business operation previously overseen by President Donald Trump.

Nasiripour previously covered student debt, higher education, and financial issues facing young people as they transition from school to the workforce. He also briefly covered Wells Fargo.

Previously, he was chief financial and regulatory correspondent for the Huffington Post, where he covered Wall Street, Washington, and student debt. Before that, he was financial and regulatory correspondent for the Financial Times.

Earlier, he was senior business reporter for the Huffington Post, having first joined the publication in 2009, in addition to being a reporter for the Center for Investigative Reporting, researcher for ESPN, and reporter for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and The Providence Journal.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
