Scott Harrison, a reporter at the Nashville Business Journal, is leaving the paper for a job with the state government.
His last day is Friday. Harrison covered government and economic development, banking and law for the American City Business Journals paper.
Harrison’s new job will be communications work for the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development.
Harrison had been at the paper since September 2013, and he interned at Bloomberg in New York prior to that. He also interned on the business news desk of the Savannah Morning News.
He’s a Washington & Lee University.
