C.R.L. Narasimhan passed away in Chennai at the age of 71. He was the associate editor of The Hindu, a daily Indian newspaper based in Chennai, India. He joined the newspaper in 1993 and retired in 2012. He remained with the organization as a consulting editor until August 2014.
He joined the newspaper only after working for The State Bank of India. As a result, he became an authority on banking and finance. He passed away due to an illness, although no further details were given.
