The St. Helena Star reported this morning that Jeannie Claire, the former editor of the Napa Valley Business Times, has joined the Napa Downtown Association as marketing manager. Claire will be responsible for various project and event management activities, including the Chefs Market and the Wine and Crafts Faire. She will also serve as the key person for media relations for the association.
The Napa Valley Business Times is a 5,000 circulation monthly tabloid circulated to CEOs and other decision makers in the region. Claire was also the business editor of the Napa Valley Register, a daily newspaper with 18,500 subscribers. She oversaw a staff of 14 writers and penned a weekly column for the Register titled “Business Buzz.�
