Morning Consult’s Gronewold to join Politico

Anna Gronewold

Anna Gronewold, who has been covering business and brands for Morning Consult, has been hired by Politico New York to cover education.

She starts April 23 and will be based in Albany, New York.

Gronewold has been with Morning Consult since July 2017 and has also covered finance.

Before that, she worked for the Associated Press as a New York state government reporter and in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a statehouse reporter. She also covered the Nebraska legislature for the AP.

Gronewold is a University of Nebraska graduate.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
