Alex Silverman has been appointed senior reporter, sports at Morning Consult.
His new role began Tuesday. There, Silverman will be providing news, insight and analysis on the business of sports. The reporting may also often incorporate Morning Consult’s proprietary survey search data.
Previously, he was a corporate communications manager at Univision where he worked on sports and distribution. He has also served as an editor at Cablefax and as a staff writer at SportsBusiness Daily.
Additionally, he has also worked as a staff reporter and copy editor at Columbia Missourian and as a sports intern at Newsday. He also has experience working freelance.
Silverman has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
