Gavin O’Malley from Online Media Daily writes Tuesday about the new business news site Moneywatch.com that was launched this week by CBS.
O’Malley writes, “Targeting professionals, the personal finance site is being featured throughout the CBS broadcast, radio and mobile platforms, while its editorial talent will be featured as regular contributors on CBS News shows, including ‘The CBS Early Show,’ and ‘CBS Evening News,’ along with local CBS TV and radio stations.
“‘MoneyWatch is going to be very much oriented toward one’s long-term financial well-being,’ said Greg Mason, SVP and general manager of CBS Interactive’s Business Network.
“Serving as editor-at-large, Jill Schlesinger has been brought on as the MoneyWatch.com site resident adviser for several of the site’s video series, including ‘Real People,’ ‘Behind the Curtain,’ and ‘Tip of the Week.'”
