Julia Newbould, author and finance writer, has joined Money magazine as editor-at-large.
Newbould brings more than 20 years of experience to the magazine.
Previously, she was in marketing and communications at BT Financial Group where she founded the Stella Network. She also worked in the capacities of managing editor of Morningstar Australia and as editor of Financial Planning and Super Review magazines at Reed Business Information.
Additionally, she also served as managing editor of InvestorInfo.
Newbould said: “I believe passionately in helping those who are keen to help themselves. We’re not all born equal and do not have the same opportunities in life, but through education we can make up for some of the initial inequality and this is where I believe magazines like Money can play an important role.”
“Her experience, knowledge and passion for empowering investors is perfectly suited to the magazine’s mission of helping more Australians become financially savvy,” editor-in-chief Michelle Baltazar added.
