Monday business section in Richmond undergoes revamp

John Hoke, the business editor at the Richmond Times-Dispatch, writes Sunday about the changes to the paper’s Monday business section, known as Metro Business.

Hoke writes, “Phone calls, conversations and research indicate Metro Business remains popular. But almost anything can be improved, so tomorrow we will introduce a few changes that we believe will make Metro Business even better.

“The main change is the focus of cover story feature — now it will spotlight businesspeople and the companies they run.

“You may have noticed we already have begun featuring profiles of prominent business leaders such as Jon Mathiasen, president and CEO of Richmond International Airport, and Astyra founders Ken Ampy and Sam Young Jr.”
