Gabriela Barkho has joined Digiday’s Modern Retail as the company’s newest reporter.
Previously, Barkho held the post of tech reporter at The Observer.
Before that, she was a contributor at Crunchbase News and Vice Motherboard. She is also the founding editor of the online publication, Femsplain. Additionally, she has worked as a freelance reporter and served as a life and leisure editor at The Observer.
She also held the post of Harper’s Bazaar intern.
Barkho holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-Newark.
