Max Fillion, an MLex reporter who had been covering trade, data privacy, antitrust and other regulation, will now cover antitrust as a full-time beat.
On Twitter, Fillion wrote, “This means we’re hiring a reporter for the DC Bureau! The job is perfect for recent J School grads. I’ve had an excellent time in this position & MLex is a top-notch news agency.”
Fillion has been with MLex in Washington since June. He graduated in 2018 from the University of Missouri with a degree in journalism.
While in school, Fillion worked for the Columbia Missourian as a public life reporter and as a statehouse reporter. He also interned for MLex in Brussels in 2017.
