MIT Tech Review’s Orcutt leaving for The Block

Mike Orcutt

Mike Orcutt, senior reporter at MIT Technology Review has left the company to join The Block as news editor.

His new role begins April 20.

Orcutt joined Tech Review in 2011 as a research editor. Later on, he was promoted to the post of associate editor before moving on to his current post at the company.

Prior to joining Tech Review, Orcutt was a web/editorial reporting intern at Scientific American. Before that, she was a science writing intern at Popular Mechanics. There, he wrote stories for the website and also assisted with the print edition.

Orcutt is a B.A. in biology from Whitman College.
