Nanette Byrnes, who has worked for BusinessWeek and Reuters, has joined MIT Technology Review this week as senior editor of Business Reports.
Byrnes will work closely with senior staff to conceive, design, and produce one of our company’s most important products, its Business Reports. In this position, she will work with freelance writers to produce high-quality original content focused on how businesses strategically use and think about technology, and how that is evolving and changing.
In addition to Business Reports, she will managing several other special editorial projects each year.
At BusinessWeek, Byrnes had been a senior writer, specializing in corporate finance and management. She was previously associate editor, Corporations department editor, and a finance correspondent in the Los Angeles bureau.
At Reuters, Byrnes was part of the team that one a National Press Club award and a Gerald Loeb award for the Shell Games series.
Byrnes also worked at SmartMoney.
