Minnesota paper returns Money coverage to Sunday

The St. Cloud Times in Minnesota, which earlier this year folded its Sunday Money coverage into Saturday’s paper due to budget reasons, is returning the coverage to Sunday’s paper, writes executive editor John Bodette.

Bodette wrote, “But with the economy on many people’s minds and in the news, there isn’t a better time for more consumer and personal finance coverage.

“Our business staff continues to cover these important stories. Now we have more space to present information on how readers can spend their dollars more wisely.

“‘I think people want information on how to manage their money and see different perspectives on how to manage their money. The page is a good place for that kind of coverage,” Business Editor Britt Johnsen said.

“The page also will feature a column from local and regional experts giving advice on personal finance.”
