Patrick Leary started Thursday as the Milwaukee Business Journal’s new manufacturing and travel reporter.
Mark Kass of the Business Journal writes, “To help introduce him to our readers, I asked Patrick a few questions about his background, interest in business and his hobbies away from the office.
“Q: Tell us about your journalism background? ‘I’ve spent the last two years at The Journal Times in Racine, primarily covering city government. Before that, I interned at the Arizona Republic in Phoenix covering the town of Gilbert and had an education fellowship internship at The Journal Sentinel.
“‘I graduated from Marquette in 2015 with a journalism major and history minor. At Marquette, I was the sports editor of the student newspaper for three semesters and also worked in the athletic department and marketing and communication office. I also participated in the O’Brien Fellowship program, working on a project about water scarcity in the American southwest.'”
