Sydney Smith, a senior government reporter at the Holland Sentinel in Michigan, has been hired as a business reporter at MiBiz.com, which covers business news in Western Michigan.
Her last day at the Sentinel will be Nov. 23.
“I have many good things to say about my time here,” said Smith on Twitter. “I’ll still be covering West MI, so keep up with me here! Thank you for following along with me and your city.”
Smith has been at the Sentinel for two years. She previously worked at the Times-Herald in Port Huron, Michigan.
She is a Central Michigan University graduate.
