Miami Herald business editor Jane Wooldridge has been promoted to senior director for journalism sustainability.
She starts her new job on Monday.
Wooldridge had been the business editor since June 2010 and was also the paper’s visual arts editor. She also was the Herald’s longtime travel editor and has been at the paper since 1983.
She was a business columnist from 1996 to 1999 at the paper, writing a twice-weekly column and Business Monday cover stories. She has also been a contributing cruise editor for Travel + Leisure. And she is a past president of the Society of American Travel Writers.
Wooldridge is a Duke University graduate.
