Sara Merken is now covering privacy and data security for Bloomberg Law.
She previously covered health care policy, corporate governance, and financial technology and regulation. Merken also covered energy, water, and environmental policy for Bloomberg Environment.
While in college, she interned at Bloomberg BNA and wrote articles for some of its publications, including U.S. Law Week, Product Safety and Liability Reporter, Bankruptcy Law Reporter, and Digital Discovery and e-Evidence. She reported extensively on litigation matters and Supreme Court decisions, and analyzed content from conferences and webinars.
Merken was also an intern at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
She is a George Washington University graduate.
