The Memphis Business Journal has hired Stephen MacLeod to cover commercial real estate.
A story on its website states, “He is covering commercial real estate and economic development. He takes over those beats from former reporter Jacob Steimer, who is now a Report for America corps member working with MLK50: Justice Through Journalism.
“MacLeod has rolled up his sleeves and is actively digging into Memphis business — but remotely, at first. The recent graduate of Quinnipiac University in Connecticut currently lives in New Hampshire and is ‘configuring a move to Memphis’ before too long. See below to learn more about him.
“Hometown: I grew up in Dracut, Massachusetts, but I tell everyone I’m from Lowell. You might know Lowell if you ever saw ‘The Fighter,’ where the movie takes place and was also shot. It’s about an hour north of Boston and right on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border. Today, I live in a small town in New Hampshire but am hoping to move to Memphis soon.”
