The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s assistant managing editor for business Chuck Melvin is among the employees accepting a buyout offer from owner Gannett Co., reports Rich Kirchen of Milwaukee Business Journal.
Melvin has been at the Journal Sentinel since November 2005.
Before that, he worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer as deputy business editor from April 2000 to November 2005. He also spent two years as a tech reporter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Melvin spent more than 17 years at the Associated Press. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Ohio State University.
