Journalist Ellie Kincaid has been hired by Medscape as an associate managing editor.
Medscape covers breaking medical news on drug and disease information.
Kincaid previously was an assistant editor for health care coverage at Forbes, where she wrote online news stories and enterprise features about the business of health care and biotech. She also updated the healthcare homepage, tweeted from the @forbeshealth account, and curated a semi-weekly email newsletter.
She interned on the health and science desk at The Wall Street Journal.
Kincaid holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and New York University.
