McLeary departs Breaking Defense for Politico

Paul McLeary

Paul McLeary, a senior reporter at Breaking Defense, will be leaving his post after more than three years to join Politico as a defense reporter, reports Politico.

McLeary was also a senior editor for national security at Foreign Policy. He has also worked as a Pentagon and defense policy reporter at Defense News.

He was also a senior editor at Defense Technology International and a senior writer at Columbia Journalism Review.

McLeary was also a freelance columnist at Center for American Progress.

McLeary is a graduate of University of Buffalo.
