Spring applications are now open for the McGraw Fellowship for Business Journalism, an initiative launched last year at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
The fellowship provides accomplished journalists with funding to do the deep reporting needed to produce a distinguished investigative or enterprise story on key issues related to U.S. business and the economy.
McGraw Fellowships are awarded twice a year, in spring and fall. The upcoming deadline to apply is May 15, 2015.
You’ll find more information about the McGraw Fellowships and the online application at www.mcgrawcenter.org, but here are the highlights:
• Each Fellow receives $5,000 a month for up to three months
• Open to both freelance and staff journalists with five years experience
• No residency required; McGraw Fellows work from their own offices
Please contact Jane Sasseen, the executive director of the program, at jane.sasseen@journalism.cuny.edu with any questions or if you have a project you’d like to discuss.
