Caitlin McGarry will be leaving her current job at Tom’s Guide to join Gizmodo as consumer tech editor.
Her new role begins Jan. 13.
Before joining Tom’s Guide, McGarry was working at IDG Consumer & SMB as staff writer and associate editor. She was also a reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Before that, she has held the posts of contributing news writer and assistant editor.
Additionally, she also served as deputy editor at The Lumberjack.
McGarry has a bachelor’s degree in journalism, political science from Northern Arizona University.
