Alicia McElhaney, a reporter for TheStreet.com, has joined Institutional Investor as a general assignment reporter.
Her first day is Monday.
At TheStreet, McElhaney wrote stock stories for TheStreet and auction stories for The Deal. She also contributed to weekly columns and newsletters for The Deal, and wrote copy that appears alongside videos on TheStreet’s website.
She had been at TheStreet since January 2016.
McElhaney is a University of Maryland graduate. While in college, she interned at TheStreet as a Dow Jones News Fund business reporting intern.
