Annmarie Dooling, engagement product lead at The Wall Street Journal, has bene hired by McClatchy newspapers to be the managing editor for editorial experimentation.
This is her last week at The Journal.
Dooling joined The Journal in May 2018 as product lead for its newsletters.
She had been with Vox Media since March 2016, while there was was newsletter and retention growth lead, working with email communication and notifications across Vox Media, as well as directing product, revenue and IT support across more than 400 monthly newsletters to 1.5 million readers.
Before that, she was director of programming for Racked.com, launching distributed platform projects such as Snapchat, Instagram Stories and video across Facebook, Apple News and Twitter.
Dooling also spent a year as director of growth at Vocativ and two years at The Huffington Post as a senior community editor.
