Marcella McCarthy has joined Bloomberg’s new Latin American initiative, Bloomberg Línea, where she will be covering tech/startups and serving as the publication’s U.S. correspondent.
Recently, McCarthy was at TechCrunch, where she covered Latin America, Miami and health tech globally.
Her work has also appeared in The Miami Herald, The American Academy of Neurology, Yahoo, Yahoo Finance, Engadget.com, and Refresh Miami.
She was also co-founder and CEO of Skilled — an ed-tech startup that offered an online marketplace and SaaS booking system for in-person classes in the community.
McCarthy holds a master’s degree in journalism health and science reporting from Northwestern University.
