The Block has hired Tom Matsuda as a fintech reporter.
He was previously an editorial intern at Sifted, which provides in-depth reporting on startup Europe and is backed by the Financial Times.
His bylines have also appeared in Al-Jazeera, OneZero and The Japan Times. He has also contributed to The Line of Best Fit in London.
Matsuda graduated from SOAS University of London.
