Anna Massoglia has been hired by Bloomberg BNA to cover international payroll.
She starts May 1. She will be writing articles as well as white papers, country primers, and other publications for the website.
For the past 18 months, Massoglia has been a political nonprofits researcher at the Center for Responsive Politics. She also worked for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.
Massoglia graduated magna cum laude with degrees in political science and psychology with honors from North Carolina State University.
She earned her J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law, where she provided pro bono representation to taxpayers in disputes with the IRS at the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and Legislation Clinic as well as serving in other capacities.
Massoglia has completed an an extended placement with the Bureau of Energy Resources Public Policy and Diplomacy Division through the U.S. State Department Student Foreign Service program. She has also held positions with a political action committee, government relations firm, the D.C. Superior Court Senior Judge’s Chambers, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Voting Rights Project, the D.C. Council Committee on Government Operations, and the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as in the private sector and with other nonprofit organizations.
