Massachusetts paper launches monthly biz section

Standard TimesStandard TimesThe Standard-Times of New Bedford, Mass., has launched a new monthly business section called Inside Business, writes editor Beth Perdue.

Perdue writes, “On the fourth Sunday of each month, our business readers can now enjoy reports on issues of regional economic importance, inside looks at some of the most interesting, successful, or unique SouthCoast businesses, and frequent spotlights on commercial real estate trends and transactions.

“This is a place business professionals can express some well-deserved professional bragging or find a workshop or training to help them gain new skills and potentially translate that knowledge into greater earnings.

“We’ll keep you informed of what’s coming in the region and help you identify possible leads for growing your business or making that important sale. We’ll also spotlight best practices and ask local CEOs to get upfront and personal about the challenges and opportunities they face running a business here.”
