Kerry Flynn, a former tech reporter for the International Business Times, has been hired to cover tech for Mashable.
She will start on Monday, July 25. Flynn will report to will business editor Jason Abbruzzese.
At the International Business Times, she focused on social media companies such as Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat, mobile apps and startups and how they affect areas of life such as the 2016 U.S. presidential election, entertainment and news reporting.
Prior, she wrote for The Huffington Post, Forbes and Money magazine.
Flynn studied environmental science and economics at Harvard College, where she led The Harvard Crimson’s metro news and design teams and played mellophone in the Band.
