Erika Riley has been hired by the Frederick News Post in Maryland to be a business reporter.
She started this week.
Riley has been interning this summer for the newspaper in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a features reporter. She wrote stories for all sections of features including books, living, and food. She also worked on a larger feature over the course of the summer on Wis. v. Yoder, the Supreme Court decision that allows the Amish to take their children out of school in the eighth grade, and the movement to overturn it.
She also interned at StreetEasy, a New York website covering real estate.
Riley is a graduate of Knox College in Illinois.
