Caitlin Huston, who covered startups and initial public offerings for MarkeWatch.com, has been hired to be editor in chief of Broadway News.
The full site for Broadway News, which covers news from the theater business, will launch soon. It’s from the same operation that produces the Broadway Briefing daily email newsletter.
Huston had been at MarketWatch for the past two years and nine months.
She also worked as an editor at The Wall Street Journal for the Mansion section and The Accelerators blog. In addition to her business reporting at Dow Jones, Huston contributed to WSJ’s Broadway coverage and helped to launch Broadway coverage at MarketWatch.
She began her professional journalism career as a crime reporter.
Huston is a University of Michigan graduate.
