Olshan writes, “As I said last month, this was only a first step. In response to your excellent feedback, we are happy to announce three changes to the design that should make the site much better:
“• The return of the market chart: The removal of the market chart from the home page was the No. 1 reader complaint about the new design. Well, we listened. In the next couple of weeks, it will be back, better than ever, and right at the top of the page.
“• Watchlist: Our goal all along has been to create more ways for you to personalize MarketWatch to highlight the news and data you’re most interested in. So we’re thrilled to announce an upgraded Watchlist to track your investments. The new list, which launched today, will once again appear on the front page, and includes our popular ‘recently viewed tickers’ feature.
“• Readability: The contrast of the red, green and gray text on a black background proved hard to read at some screen sizes, so a week ago we punched up the type and put more text in bright white to make the numbers and headlines pop in the dashboard.”
